CLASSROOM THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving Bulletin Board Setup Checklist

Plan, measure and build a Thanksgiving bulletin board one pinned note at a time — from the message and background to the border, letters and student work.

🔥 Get the board up before the hallway fills with fall displays

Work through pinned notes in order, from choosing your message to hanging student work, and each one gets a stamp as you finish. Print it to keep by the board while you build.

Made for teachers who want a board that looks finished, not thrown together after school.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

A bulletin board takes longer than anyone plans for

Letters that don’t fit

The message runs out of room two words before the end.

Measuring after you’ve cut

The background paper comes up short on one side.

Built in one rushed afternoon

Everything happens the day before, with the stapler running low.

Student work as an afterthought

No space left for what the kids made.

WHAT’S INSIDE

What’s inside

The right order, every time

Build from the message out, so each step sets up the next.

Measure and plan first, so the border and letters land where they should.

Room for students’ work

Their pieces become part of the design, not squeezed in at the end.
